
- 1 slice of brown or white bread, buttered
- 1 egg
- 1 bottle Fortisip Compact, vanilla flavour
- Icing sugar to dust
- Pouring custard to serve if desired (see separate recipe)
- Preheat the oven to 180C/350F/Gas Mark 4.
- Cut the bread into eight small triangles and arrange the bread in a buttered ovenproof ramekin or small dish.
- Crack the egg into a bowl and whisk in the Fortisip Compact.
- Pour the egg and Fortisip Compact mix slowly over the bread and leave for 15 minutes to soak in the liquid.
- Place in the oven and bake for 25 minutes, or until golden brown and set**.
- Serve warm.
- 1 packet 108g macaroni cheese pasta and sauce
- 1 bottle Fortisip Compact neutral flavour
- 60ml (4 tbsps) boiling water
- 15g grated cheddar cheese
- 1 tomato, sliced
- Place the macaroni cheese in a small pan, add the bottle of Fortisip Compact.
- Add 2 tbsps boiling water and cook over a gentle heat, stirring continuously**.
- As the sauce become thick add another tablespoon of water and repeat until the pasta is cooked (this takes approximately eight minutes).
- Place the macaroni cheese in a heatproof dish, sprinkle with the cheese and place the tomato on top.
- Grill until the cheese has melted.


- 1 bottle Fortisip Compact (mocha flavour)
- 25ml Irish Cream liqueur (e.g. Baileys™)**
- Crushed ice
Mix the Fortisip Compact and Irish Cream liqueur together and pour into a glass over crushed ice.
- 10g butter & 1 tsp (5ml) oil
- 2 eggs
- 30g (2 tbsps) grated cheese
- Salt and pepper
- 1 bottle Fortisip Compact, neutral flavour
- 3 mushrooms, washed and sliced
- Crack the eggs into a bowl and whisk in the grated cheese, salt and pepper.
- Add the bottle of Fortisip Compact and beat well.
- Heat the oil and butter in an omelette pan and gently fry the mushrooms until they just start to colour.
- Remove the mushrooms from the pan.
- Pour the omelette mixture into the hot pan and fork through the mixture until the base of the omelette begins to set**.
- Place the pan under the grill and cook until the omelette is risen and golden all over.
- Place the cooked mushrooms on top and serve immediately.


- 75g self raising flour
- 1 egg
- 1 bottle Fortisip Compact, vanilla flavour
- 15ml (1tbsp) oil (of your choice for frying)
- 25ml honey or syrup
- Place the flour into a mixing bowl, add the egg and bottle of Fortisip Compact, and mix well together.
- Leave to stand whilst heating the oil in a frying pan.
- Place 2 dessert spoons of mixture into the pan to make one pancake.
- Repeat to make six pancakes.
- Fry until the pancake begins to form bubbles on the top; turn the pancake over and cook the other side**.
- Serve three pancakes in a stack and pour over the honey or syrup.
*Tip: The pancakes will keep overnight in the refrigerator.
